New Law Passed to Prosecute Child Predators

Congresswoman Nancy Boyda and Attorney General Steve Six have announced a new federal law to help stop child predators. Boyda wrote the bill, titled "The Effective Child Pornography Act of 2007," to help prosecute those who possess or distribute child pornography.

The House passed the act last November, but it did not pass in the Senate until last month. President Bush signed the bill on October 8th.
