Shawnee Co. Elementary Students Get Flu Shots

Some area students got a chance to get their flu shots today.

The Shawnee County Health Agency and USD 345 conducted a flu clinic today at East Indianola Elementary.

The flu vaccine was offered to USD 345 students in grades K-12 free of charge with Medicare, Unicare or Family Health cards. For all others, the shots were $20.

This clinic is part of a two month, county-wide campaign with the Shawnee County Health Agency and Shawnee County Public Schools.
