Car Rear-Ends Stopped Semi in Olathe, 2 Killed

OLATHE, Kan. (AP) _ Two people are dead after their car rear-ended an 18-wheeler that had stopped on an Olathe street.

Police said 21-year-old Castin Ellis and her 20-year-old passenger Nikolas Musto were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 12:45 a.m. Monday. Both victims were Olathe residents.

Police said the car was headed north on South Lone Elm Road when Ellis's car rammed into the back of the truck, which was stopped in the northbound lane.
