Oklahoma Boy, 7, Dies in Kansas Crash

WELLSVILLE, Kan. (AP) _ A 7-year-old Oklahoma boy is dead after a sport utility vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near Wellsville.

The Kansas State Highway Patrol says the boy, identified as Alvin Lee Harrison III, of Beggs, Okla., was thrown from the vehicle.

The patrol says 28-year-old Ravin Harrison, of Del City, Okla., lost control of the SUV as she drove northbound on I-35 on Saturday.

Harrison was taken to a hospital in Overland Park. Two other children in the SUV, an 8-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy, were taken to a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.

Their conditions were not released.
