Kansas is among 33 states that has reached a landmark settlement.
Attorney General Steve Six announced Wednesday that he reached a record $62 million settlement with pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly.
Kansas' piece of the settlement will be more than $1 million. The suit comes after an alleged improper marketing of the anti-psychotic drug Zyprexa. Six alleged that in a file complaint, along with the settlement agreement, that the company engaged in unfair and deceptive practices.
After a year and a half investigation, Eli Lilly agreed to change how it markets the drug.
