Former Youth Group Leader Found Guilty of Indecent Liberties

A former youth group director from Douglas county has been found guilty of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

38-year old Christopher Cormack, now of Billings, Montana faces 55 to 233 months in prison.

The victim, who is now 24 years old, came forward with reports of abuse after she learned Cormack was ordained to serve as Chaplain at Kansas State University.

She says she was afraid his new position would give him access to minors.

The victim met Cormack when she was attending a Lawrence church.

Cormack will be sentenced on November 25th.
