Governor's Military Council Meets Wednesday

By  |

A group of state officials are making a team effort to keep Kansas strong. The Governor's Military Council met Wednesday. It's made up of people from all the state's major communities with the goal of making sure Kansas is doing all it can to support the military.

The council meets quarterly to get review activities and discuss long-term needs, such as new buildings or new missions. Members say the meetings send a signal that Kansas is a "military-friendly, proactive" state.
