PAXICO, Kan. (WIBW) -- Three women were hurt Monday night after a railing collapsed in rural Wabaunsee Co., according to the sheriff's office.

Few details have been released yet, but officials say the women were leaning against the railing at a private home in the 25000 block of Sunflower Rd. when it gave way.

The trio were taken to hospital, officials said. They did not say if other people were leaning against the railing as well or how far they fell.

This story is still developing. 13News will update it as more information becomes available.
