SALINE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE)-- Authorities in Saline County have arrested a second person in connection to the murder of a Salina woman earlier this year.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, 33-year-old Dane Cory Deweese of Abilene was arrested last night and booked on a first degree murder charge.
In late April, 27-year-old Kristin Tyler was reported missing. Her body was found near a bridge northwest of Salina several days later.
Shortly after, 24-year-old Joel Heil was charged with first degree murder. At the time, investigators said they were anticipating additional arrests.
The sheriff's office is not yet releasing what led up to the most recent arrest.
