LARNED, Kan. (AP) _ A convicted sex offender who escaped from Larned State Hospital has pleaded no contest to aggravated escape from custody.

The Pawnee County attorney's office says Perry Isley will be sentenced Oct. 29.

Pawnee County District Judge Bruce Gatterman accepted Isley's plea on Thursday and found him guilty. State guidelines for the sentence range from seven to 23 months.

Isley escaped from the hospital on Aug. 5 by cutting his way through two fences. He was captured the next day in Colorado.

He was sent to Larned in March 2006 after serving 11 years in prison for two convictions in Shawnee County for aggravated indecent liberties with a child younger than 14.
