For the second time in four years, Topeka was chosen to host a very special event.
The Samoyed Club of America is holding their national specialty dog show all week at the Kansas Expocentre.
Tuesday's events began with an agility competition.
This year's event will include about 600 dogs and 600 handlers competing for awards in several different classes.
The Samoyed Club of America consists of 1,600 members.
The event is free and opened to the public.
Activities begin at 8am every morning and run through Saturday.
