Lions' Club Hears Update on New Emergency Department

Members of the Lions Club got the opportunity to learn more about Stormont-Vail HealthCare's largest addtion in history.

David Cunningham, Vice President Support Services & Facilities Officer, says the $50 million addition is on track to be completed in April of 2009.

The new addition will house an expanded emergency department which will have 28 rooms. Several doctors will also be added.

In addition, 21 general patient rooms and 12 critical care rooms are part of the addtion.
