You may need to allow a little extra time for your Monday morning drive to work. Beginning Monday, the left westbound lane of I-70 from Rice Rd. to just west of the Kansas Turnpike Authority Toll Plaza will close for pavement work.
Once it's complete the right westbound lane will close. Ramps will remain open, but you should expect minor delays and use alternate routes if possible.
The work should be completed by the middle of October.
