Tropical Storm Kyle is gaining strength as it swirls in the open Atlantic southwest of Bermuda.
The National Hurricane Center said Kyle's maximum sustained winds have increased to near 60 mph (95 kph) early Friday.
And forecasters said the storm could become a hurricane by Saturday as it moves north.

On Friday morning, Kyle is centered about 500 miles (805 kilometers) south-southwest of Bermuda.
Tropical Storm Kyle is is moving north-northwest near 13 mph (20 kph).
Kyle is the 11th named storm this season in the Atlantic.
