Two suspects in a Wednesday morning burglary remain on the run.

Jefferson County deputies spotted them as they fled the scene of a home break-in in a green Ford Taurus. They chased the car into Shawnee County, but it got away.

A Shawnee County deputy later found the car abandoned in the 3600 block of Southeast Highway 40.

The suspects are described as a white man, about six feet tall and a black man about 5'9" with a thin build. Both are in their twenties.

Anyone with information should call the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office at 785-368-2200.
