Sebelius Names Johnson County District Court Judge

Governor Kathleen Sebelius has named Thomas Kelly Ryan to be a District Court Judge in Johnson County.

The 48-year-old will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of judge William o. Isenhour, junior.

Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University and his law degree from Washburn University School of Law.

He has been in private practice in Johnson County for 23 years, working in civil litigation, family law, workers' compensation and criminal defense. He also serves as the municipal judge in Edgerton and Assistant city Prosecutor for Fairway.
