Naima Halim-Chestnut Says Program Helps Kids
Students at Highland Park's Highlander Academy got a visit from a special guest Wednesday afternoon.
Naima Halim-Chestnut spoke to the entire freshmen class during a special assembly.
The program, "Making High School Count", is intended to help students understand the importance of high school. Halim-Chestnut told the students what they needed to accomplish to maximize their opportunities later in life.
Parents were invited to attend with the students.
