People spoke to City Council for more than two hours regarding what kind of access to give a Topeka subdivision Tuesday night.
Council determined to condemn property so developer Gene Jani could make a connecting street from Marlboro road...at Lauren's Bay.
Residents say there was no compromise.
Jeff Preisner wanted to delay the issue...but council could not because John Alcala had made a substitute motion and would not pull it from the table.
Jani said he isn't the one concerned with the connecting streets -- he said city planners say it is necessary.
Council says they still have time to look into the issue further, but residents are not convinced they will change anything.
