Topeka Restaurant Raises Money for Good Cause
A new Topeka restaurant is adding up how its grand opening helped the community. Qdoba Mexican Grill held fundraising events for the Topeka Rescue Mission.
They presented them a check Tuesday for more than $3,900. They raised the money through donations and through a $5 meal deal. Qdoba co-owner Chuck Stratman says they want their business to be involved with the city of Topeka and its people.
The restaurant, at 10th and Wanamaker, officially opened on September 8.
