State employees were recognized Monday for their hard work over the years. An award ceremony was held Monday at the Kansas Museum of History for the employees that have given 40 and 50 years of their service to the state of Kansas.
Governor Kathleen Sebelius presented the awards. One key honoree, Dr. L.T. Fan, of the Chemical Engineering Department at KSU, received a pin for his 50 dedicated years to the state of Kansas.
