Kansas Guard Returning From Hurricane Relief Mission

The Kansas Guard Aviation Unit are back home Friday night from their Hurricane Ike relief mission.

The 21 soldiers deployed September 12th to San Angelo, TX in support of relief operations related to the hurricane. Three UH-60 Black Hawks from the Kansas Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation and Company C 1st Battalion, 171st General Support Aviation Battalion returned carrying the soldiers.

While in Texas they assisted those who lived there with immediate supplies.
