President Bush proclaimed Friday "National POW/MIA Recognition Day," honoring those who have been prisoners of war or are still missing in action.
In observance of this day, the National League of Families POW/MIA flag is flown over the Capitol, the White House, the World War II Memorial, and many other locations across the country.
