A guilty plea Friday afternoon in the murder of a Topeka teenager.

25-year old Christopher Hall pleaded guilty in the murder and sexual assault of 15-year old Nacole Winter. Her body wad found at Lake Shawnee in December 2006.

Shawnee County District Attorney Robert Hecht says Hall pleaded guilty to first degree murder, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, sexual intercourse and criminal desecration of a body.

Hecht says Hall also was convicted in a home invasion and hammer attack on a Topeka couple about the same time as the Winter murder. The charges in that case included attempted first degree murder and aggravated robbery.

Hecht says he will seek a life sentence for hall in the Winter murder and the maximum sentence for the other crimes.
