A Topeka-area man will stand trial on 68 counts of rape, plus nearly a dozen new charges.

A Riley County judge ruled Tuesday there was enough evidence to bind over Ben Hinchsliff of Berryton.

Riley County Attorney Barry Wilkerson also requested 11 additional counts of criminal sodomy based on evidence presented during Hinchsliff's preliminary hearing.

The charges stem from alleged incidents that began when the victim was 11-years old.

Arraignment is set for September 29th. A trial date could also be set at that time.
