CoreFirst Comes to Manhattan

Manhattan residents now have another banking option. CoreFirst Bank & Trust has opened a new branch, its first in the city.

Officials from the bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the bank, located inside the Dillons Supermarket at 1000 Westloop Pl.

"CoreFirst has hundreds of great customers in Riley County, and we're very pleased to further provide them with the convenience of seven-day-a-week banking," said Kristin Halliburton, branch sales manager.

The new branch is a full-service location, according to representatives, and will stay open during non-traditional hours. It will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

CoreFirst has been in business for fifty years and boasts assets over $1.2 billion. It already ghas branches in Kansas City, Topeka, Emporia, and South Denver. The Manhattan facility will be its 25th.
