Several days of fundraising will help stock the shelves of four food pantries in Topeka.
Members of the Topeka Area Association of REALTORS raised over $6,000 through personal contributions, a golf tournament and a dining-out function at Red Robin Restaurant.
On Thursday, representatives from Doorstep Inc, Let's Help Inc, Fellowship Inc, and the Topeka Rescue Mission accepted the funds from the Realtors.
Barry Feaker, Executive Director of the Topeka Rescue Mission, said funds are always needed, but this donation was especially timely.
