Devon talks about Cystic Fibrosis
Jardine Middle School teacher Amy Sweet lives next door to a Carbondale child named Devon who is battling Cystic Fibrosis. Amy has been doing a fund raiser called Dollars for Devon at Jardine. When students give a dollar, they receive a "play" dollar that they can write a message on it for Devon. This "play" dollar was then placed on the lunch room wall.
Devon has had a liver transplant and now she is in need of a double lung transplant. She came to Jardine to see the kids and let the kids see who they have been donating dollars too.
