Police Release Surveillance Video of Bank Robbery Suspect

Topeka Police have released surveillance video of the suspect in a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery.

Both incidents happened Monday morning. The video is the Kaw Valley Bank at 4848 Southwest 21st. The suspect walked in and approached the teller. He didn't take any money here.

But a suspect did get away with cash from the UMB Bank on North Topeka Blvd. less than two hours later.

The suspect in both incidents is described as a white man in his twenties, about 5'10" and weighing around 170 pounds.
