Fort Riley Soldiers Accused of Impersonating Police Officers

Authorities say two soldiers from Fort Riley are accused of impersonating a police officer in Manhattan.

Riley County police say a 17-year-old boy told officers he noticed people talking on a loud speaker in a mall parking lot. They followed him to a red light, got out of their vehicle flashing their MP badges and ordered him out of his car.

He drove off and called police, who later arrested the pair.

The suspects are free on 500 dollars bond.
