A grocery chain is seeing some big sales increases in their second quarter, but Hurricane Ike may change that. The Wichita Business Journal reports Kroger Company sales are up 12 percent to $18.1 billion.

The company also reports an increase in profits of 3.4 percent to $277 million. Although the second quarter numbers are up, Kroger says it's too soon to tell what impact Hurricane Ike might have on its sales.
