TOPEKA - A resurfacing project on Highway 24 scheduled for this week has been rescheduled to start next Monday because of recent rain.

Highway 24 from the Pottawatomie and Shawnee County line to the western limits of Silver Lake will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be directed through the work zone by a pilot car.

The project begins Monday, Sept. 22.
