TOPEKA - Road work could slow down drivers on I-70 through Topeka Wednesday.
Workers will be cleaning the drains along the median and shoulders on I-70 between Wanamaker and Fairlawn from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Wednesday. The left lane of eastbound I-70 will be closed first. When work there is done workers will close the right lane.
The work should wrap up in one day.
Drivers should expect minor delays while the lanes are closed.
