OLSBURG, Kan. - Family friends of Laurel Lauer, 16, say the community has come together to set up an account in Laurel's name at the Union State Bank of Olsburg to help pay hospital expenses.

Lauer was seriously injured in a car accident Friday afternoon, September 5. Because of the location of her car off the side of a rural roadway, behind some trees, she wasn't found until the next morning by the property owner. Lauer had been pinned inside and couldn't get out. She was life-flighted to a Topeka hospital.
