Topeka Man to Serve More than 5 Years in Fed. Prison

39-year-old Terry Carr of Topeka is sentenced to 70 months in federal prison on drug trafficking charges.

He was arrested as part of Operation: Hard Times: a federal, state, and local investigation lead by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

He pleaded guilty in August 2007 on drug and firearm charges.

Investigators found cocaine and a handgun in his home while serving a search warrant in 2006.

The operation has been investigating drug trafficking in the Topeka area.
