Chanute, KS (WIBW)-- A Chanute teenager is killed another is injured after running a stop sign and getting struck by another vehicle Saturday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday in Neosho County. In an updated report the Kansas Highway Patrol says that 18-year-old Derek Reynolds failed to stop at a stop sign on rural road 160 and was struck by another vehicle.
Passenger 19-year-old Morgan Dye was killed in the crash.
The couple from Arkansas in the other vehicle were also injured and taken to Memorial Hospital to be treated.
