Hurricane Ike Causes Jump in Gas Prices
With Hurricane Ike threatening Gulf Coast off-shore drilling and oil refineries in the south, the price of gas has gone-up.
Our sister station in Alabama reports some gas stations with prices as high as $5.29/gallon.
They say one convenience store chain is asking customers in 11 states, including Alabama, to limit purchases to 10 gallons.
Kansas is not included among those states.
