Topeka Police Investigate Home Invasion

Topeka Police are investigating a report of a home invasion that occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday at 3661 SE Indiana.

According to police a 42 year old male was at his home when he heard pounding on his front door. Just as he went to the door it was kicked open by a black male. The black male entered the residence along with a white male and black female.

The suspects were reportedly looking for a female subject who no longer lives at the residence.

The man was assaulted and the suspects took some of his personal property. He received a large cut to the back of his head after being struck by an unknown object, police say.

Police describe the suspects as a black male about 5’8” weighing around 140 pounds in his mid 20’s with a short afro style haircut; a white male 6’2” and weighing around 175 pounds in his mid 20’s with a crew cut wearing a red shirt and shorts; a black female, 5’6”, 115 pounds, mid to late 20’s with a small pony tail; and a black female, 5’5”, 215 pounds with straight shoulder length hair.

All four suspects were seen leaving the area northbound in a mid 90’s white over red or maroon large older model full size car.
