AUGUSTA, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for Butler County Rural Water District (RWD) #4 and the city of Augusta, located in Butler County.
KDHE issued the advisory on September 7 due to a line break that resulted in a loss of pressure to the water distribution system. Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
