Kansas Racetracks Must Restart Racing Programs
The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission today voted to issue "show cause" letters to the licensees of the three tracks for not operating racing meets.
The commission is giving the licensees 30 days to revoke their licenses if progress is not made to restart racing programs.
An administrative meeting is set for October 13th and 14th to hear from each track.
The time and location for the meeting will be announced at a later date.
