The group trying to buy the former Sumner school presented its fund raising totals to the city of Topeka Friday.

Community First wants to turn the building into a private school and community hub.

The city says it will review the information and decide next week whether it meets requirements.

The city council gave Community First a 60-day extension to show it could get the estimated $3.5 million it would take to renovate the building and sustain its programs.
