Testimony continued Friday for the woman accused in the hit-and-run deaths of two highway workers a year ago next week.

Ramona Morgan is charged with reckless second degree murder in the Sept. 11, 2007 deaths of Tyrone Korte and Rolland Griffith.

The Baldwin City Signal reports a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper took the stand Friday. He testified Morgan didn't stop until she was more than 25 miles away from the scene of the accident, south of Lawrence.

The coroner and a KBI investigator also testified Friday, saying the DNA of the two men killed was found on Morgan's truck.

Morgan's trial continues next week.
