A $97.5 million school bond issue is ready to face voters.

The Manhattan Mercury reports it will be on the ballot for voters in Manhattan-Ggden USD 383 November fourth.

The Ebert Mayo Design Group's Mike Mayo presented a bond proposal to the school board Wednesday. Mayo says Manhattan's population is expected to reach 65,000 by 2017, potentially increasing enrollment 30 percent.

The proposed bond would handle the increase in students and renovate existing buildings in the district.
