LAWRENCE, Kan. - The daughter of a woman on trial for charges of hitting and killing two construction workers testified at her mother's trial Thursday.
The Baldwin City Signal reports Sabrina Morgan testified her mom, Ramona Morgan, believed someone was chasing them and trying to shoot them.
Sabrina was with her mother the day she allegedly hit the workers with her truck in a construction zone on Highway 59.
Morgan faces two counts of reckless second-degree murder.
