Kansas Senator Pat Roberts has scheduled the final stop in his tour of all 105 Kansas counties.
Roberts will be in Hesston this Friday. He'll tour AGCO and speaks to the Harvey County Economic Development Luncheon.
"I have long said there is no substitute for personal contact with those you represent, and this tour gives me the best chance to hear from people in a small setting," Senator Roberts said.
Roberts has held town hall meetings and spoken to community organizations across the state. Stops included Frontier Oil Refinery in El Dorado, the Barber County Veterans Memorial and the Irwing-Potter Pharmacy in Anthony.
"It was a privilege to travel from east to west, from the farthest southwest corner of the state to the farthest northwest corner of the state and in between to meet with so many Kansans," Roberts said.
Roberts will also attend the State Fair this weekend in Hutchinson where he will discuss ag issues with Kansas farm and ranch leaders at the annual Kansas Farm Bureau breakfast. The agenda also includes a debate with his Democratic opponent, Jim Slattery Saturday.
