Teen Busted for Cocaine Possession

TOPEKA, Kan. - Topeka Police arrested a juvenile following a short pursuit Tuesday afternoon. At about 1 p.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle for loud stereo near 32nd and Indiana. The vehicle did not stop and continued traveling for several minutes before stopping in the 3700 block of SE Lakewood.

The vehicle’s driver, a 14-year-old male, was taken into custody and arrested and booked in to the Juvenile Department of Corrections on charges of reckless driving, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, felony flee and elude, possession of drug paraphernalia and other traffic charges.

There were no other occupants inside the vehicle.
