The annual Labor Day Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon raised $222,424 in Northeast Kansas alone.
13's Ralph Hipp, Melissa Brunner, and Rae Chelle Davis were all out helping to raise money with the help of Topeka Harley Davidson.
The money raised by the event will go towards helping those suffering from Muscular Dystrophy pay for medical costs, as well as research for finding a cure for the disease.
