Two people are sent to the hospital after two vehicles collide west of Council Grove Monday morning.

23-year-old Tamera Kreger of Garden City was westbound on Highway 56 west of Council Grove. The Kansas Highway Patrol says she hit the side of another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl from Council Grove who failed to yield at a stop sign and turned in front of Kreger's vehicle.

Kreger was taken to Morris County Hospital with unknown injuries. The KHP says she was wearing a seatbelt.

The 17-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt according to KHP. She was life-flighted to Stormont Vail in Topeka.

A 15-year-old boy was also in Kreger's vehicle. He was not injured in the accident.
