The first hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in Salina at the Holiday Inn Convention Center; Wednesday's hearing is set for the Kansas Corporation Commission in Topeka; the Wichita hearing is Thursday at the Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center.
All of the hearings begin at 7 p.m.
Westar has applied with the KCC for a $177.6 million rate hike for retail electric customers. Residential customers would see an average monthly increase of about $10.
