WINFIELD, Kan. (AP) _ A judge continues a hearing in the case of an Arkansas City man accused of killing a Cowley College freshman.

With the agreement of defense and prosecution attorneys, District Court Judge Jim Pringle continued a hearing in the capital murder case of 25-year-old Justin Thurber. No arguments were heard Friday at the Cowley County Courthouse.

At the hearing, attorneys were to discuss some motions, including one that would allow jurors to visit the scene where Jodi Sanderholm's body was found. Other motions would amend complaint information on Thurber and allow jurors to view autopsy and sexual assault examination photographs.

The judge said arguments on those motions will be heard on Sept. 26.

Thurber is accused of killing Sanderholm in January 2007.
