MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW/KMAN) - One person is behind bars in connection with the death of a Kansas State University student last November.
Greg Haug was arrested over the weekend on a warrant. Officials tell KMAN Radio that Haug was arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
The charge stemmed from the death of 18-year-old Jordan Forbit. Forbit was found dead in a car in the parking lot of a residence hall.
Kansas State University issued a news release at the time that said police responded to a medical emergency in the parking lot. The news release also said foul play was not suspected.
Riley County Attorney Barry Wilkerson told 13 News that Haug was making his first appearance in court Monday afternoon.
No further details on what led to the charges were released.
